No Laptops, No Wi-Fi: How One Cafe Fired Up Sales

As remote workers, finding new coworking spaces or just a room with other humans is important for our well-being. At the same time, it’s important we not wear out our stay.

August First Bakery and Cafe, a coffee shop in Burlington, VT, stopped offering free wifi and outlets and banned laptops and tablets so that remote workers could no longer set up shop. In return, the cafe saw a growth in sales.
